Weiwei Machinery's 9HLP feed crusher and mixer combo removes the second trip by mounting both machines on one frame. The 9HLP-500 blends 500 kg per batch in about 15 minutes, pairing a 3 kW mixing motor with a 7.5 kW crushing motor in a 1350 x 1050 x 2350 mm frame weighing 360 kg. The 9HLP-1000 doubles the batch to 1000 kg with the same 3 kW mixing motor and a stronger 11 kW crushing motor, at 1370 x 1240 x 2700 mm and 390 kg.

The crushing unit is a hammer mill: grain, corn, soybean cake or dry straw drops through the top hopper, is beaten by swinging hammers against a screen, and the meal is lifted into the tall vertical tank. There, a central screw lifts material from the bottom and scatters it back over the top, so the whole batch turns over several times and premix, minerals and protein spread evenly through it. Fineness is set by changing the screen, and the discharge gate at the base fills a bag, a barrow or the hopper of a pellet mill.
