On the Weiwei flaker, grain drops from a welded steel hopper into the gap between two rollers. Spring-loaded screws on either side of the housing set that gap, so one machine can crack maize coarsely for beef cattle or roll oats finely for calves; the belt drive turns the rollers at low speed, which is why the grain is crushed rather than ground and why it stays cool through the pass. The body is bolted to a four-leg stand, so the unit sits steady on a concrete floor and needs no foundation.
Three models cover different farm sizes. The 12-20 takes a 2.2 kW motor on 220 V single phase, weighs 78 kg net and measures 0.58 × 0.58 × 1.07 m — small enough for a single household and light enough to move on a truck bed. The 17-40 runs a 5.5 kW motor on 380 V and weighs 215 kg. The 17-60 runs 7.5 kW, weighs 280 kg, measures 1.15 × 0.7 × 1.5 m, flakes 700–1000 kg per hour and cracks 1.2–1.5 tonnes of maize per hour. Motors of 30, 65 and 75 kg can be supplied mounted, or the flaker can be shipped bare and driven by a motor bought locally; packed weights are 120 kg, 310 kg and 385 kg respectively.
Use it on maize, wheat, barley, oats, sorghum, peas and soybean — for dairy herds, feedlots, sheep flocks, and for farmers who roll grain to sell to neighbours. Zhengzhou Weiwei Machinery has built farm machinery in Xingyang, Henan since 1980 to CE and ISO9001 standards, and ships these flakers crated for container loading.
