The raw material range is wide. The machine mainly takes corn cob, soybean stalk, small wood chips, wood chips, sawdust, straw, cotton stalk, rice husk, peanut shell, bamboo powder, palm shell, grass and other crop straw as raw material, so most yard, field and workshop waste can go into the same hopper. Raw material does need a certain amount of crushing before it is fed in, since oversized pieces cannot be pressed into a solid pellet.
After crushing, the material is ground and pressed by the flat die and comes out as high-density pellets. The high-density biomass fuel is an ideal replacement for coal, natural gas, electricity and oil: it saves energy and reduces pollution emissions, and it brings good economic and social benefits. In short, it is a clean, environmentally friendly and renewable energy machine rather than a consumer of fossil fuel.
Different raw materials give different finished products. Pellet length can be adjusted, and the die hole diameter can be selected to suit the job: the conventional sizes are 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15mm, and the larger the machine, the larger the pellet it can press. Because materials differ in hardness and fibre, the thickness of the die also has to be matched to the raw material, and that point is worth confirming before ordering, since a mismatched die affects how the pellets discharge.
Biomass pellet fuel is a new type of bioenergy. It can replace wood, coal, oil and liquefied gas, and it is widely used in heating, domestic stoves, hot water boilers, industrial boilers and biomass power plants. The same machine can also produce feed pellets, so a farm or a fuel workshop gets two uses from one unit.
