For fish, shrimp and frog farming, the floating property is the real money-saver. Extruded pellets stay on the water surface for at least 12 hours without falling apart, so farmers can watch exactly how much the stock eats, reduce feed waste by 8–15% and keep the pond water clean. The high-temperature, high-pressure process also kills harmful bacteria such as E. coli and salmonella, and the changed starch and protein structure makes the feed easier to digest, so animals grow faster on less feed. In practice, self-made extruded feed costs 60–80% less than buying commercial pellets of the same formula.
Weiwei Machinery builds the DGP dry-type series from 40–60 kg/h (DGP40-C, 5.5/7.5 kW, single- or three-phase) up to 1800–2000 kg/h (DGP200-B, 132 kW), so a hobby pond, a mid-size fish farm and a commercial feed plant can all find a matching model. Interchangeable dies and an adjustable-speed rotary cutter produce different pellet shapes and lengths for fish, shrimp, crab, dogs, cats and birds, and a diesel-engine version is available for areas with unstable power. Tell us your daily feed demand and power supply, and we will recommend the right model with your logo and color.
