The Weiwei YS-GT-800 palm fruit thresher is built exactly for that bottleneck. It strips fruit from the bunch at 300 kg/h, runs on an 18.5 kW motor (with a 6–8 HP engine offered as standard configuration for sites without three-phase power), and packs into a 2440 × 1300 × 1700 mm crate at 600 kg — small enough for a cooperative shed or a mobile processing unit, rugged enough for daily village use.
Inside, bunches drop into the hopper and meet a rotating drum fitted with stripping teeth that knock the fruit loose without crushing the kernels. A built-in blower then separates the heavy fruit from the light, empty bunch stalks, so the clean fruit falls out ready for boiling, the digester and the screw press, while the empty stalks are discharged separately. One operator keeps the line moving, the fruit stays intact (less bruise means better oil), and the whole process is continuous rather than batch-by-batch by hand.
